Dear Moloco Ads users,
We would like to announce the following updates to Moloco Ads. The following changes are effective starting May 21, 2026 KST.
Moloco SDK traffic is now automatically included in campaign targeting
Users can no longer remove Moloco SDK traffic from campaign targeting in MCP. This change was introduced to simplify exchange targeting and help advertisers consistently benefit from Moloco SDK traffic, which provides direct publisher integrations, stronger data signals, and more efficient delivery paths.
When creating new targets or updating an existing target that doesn't already exclude Moloco SDK, you will find that MOLOCO_SDK remains visible but is disabled in both the Include and Exclude lists. If you select another exchange in the Include list, Moloco SDK is automatically included as well.
Existing live campaigns that currently exclude SDK traffic aren't immediately affected as part of this release. To learn how to create targets, see the target configuration guide.
Log data retention period has been reduced to 18 months
To comply with Google's Authorized Buyer Guidelines, the retention period for log data has been reduced from 2 years to 18 months. This change is being introduced to align Moloco's raw event data handling with external platform requirements while preserving access to anonymized backup data and aggregated reporting data. Starting May 21, data older than 18 months will be gradually purged, with the process expected to complete by the end of July. Aggregated data used for campaign summary, reporting, and fact tables will remain available with no expiration.
The Moloco Ads team is always striving to support you with regular feature updates and improvements.
Thank you,
Moloco Ads Team
