What is LAT/DNT?
Limit Ad Tracking (LAT) or Do Not Track (DNT) is a feature that allows users to opt-out of sending advertising IDs (IDFA/ADID) from their device. When this function is enabled, advertisement ID collection and advertisement targeting through IDFA/ADIDs are not possible.
Apple's newest operating system (iOS 14) will enforce privacy measures that will require the user's consent in order to track their device. With the release of iOS 14, we are expecting the an increase of LAT enabled devices.
LAT/DNT Target Settings
MOLOCO Cloud allows you to select LAT/DNT targeting options for each campaign.
Important: Targeting LAT / DNT enabled users is only available for app install (user acquisition) campaigns.
Important : Make sure the Probabilistic attribution to MOLOCO is enabled in your MMP settings before using the LAT/DNT targeting feature. Since LAT/DNT devices cannot be tracked by advertising IDs, conversions are only recognized through the probabilistic attribution method, not ID matching(Deterministic attribution).
- Select the Ad Account you want to add or edit a campaign in.
- Select the + Create Campaign button to set up a new campaign or select an existing campaign you want to edit.
- LAT/DNT target settings can be found under Additional Settings with the Campaign Setting menu.

Important: Targeting Only LAT/DNT Off Devices is selected as the default option for the campaign.
