Native creative

There are two types of native creative — native image and native video. We recommend registering both types.

  • See Native ads guide to ensure that your native creatives meet Moloco's creative guidelines and specs.
  • When running campaigns in South Korea, you can display your ads on Kakao inventories using Kakao Bizboard. See the Kakao exchange guide for more information about requirements and guidelines for creative assets.
  • Samsung exchange has its own guidelines on native creatives. If you want to run your ads on Samsung exchange, refer to the Samsung exchange creative guide.
  • For campaigns targeting Japan, we recommend preparing native creatives to access the inventories of local exchanges accepting only native creatives. You should prepare native creatives for the following exchanges: ADGENERATION, FIVE, and FLUCT.

Frequently asked questions

Tip

The recommendations below for the creative may not be suitable for all cases. Reach out to your Moloco representative to consult the best strategy for your campaign.

Is uploading all creative formats a must-do for my campaign?

We strongly recommend using all creative formats (image, video, and native) for the target country. Each ad inventory supports different creative formats, so missing creative formats can mean missed opportunities to show your ads on high-performing inventories. Check Moloco Creative Guide for the creative specs that we recommend.

How many creative concepts do we need to upload per campaign?

It depends on your budget. It can be difficult to expose a lot of different creative concepts with a limited budget. For starters, we suggest uploading 2 or 3 concepts with all creative formats (image, video, and native). To maximize performance, it's more important to use all formats than it is to create multiple concepts.

I can't upload the creative. How can I resolve this issue?

Make sure your creative aligns with the specs in the Moloco creative guide. Users often can't upload a creative because it doesn't match one of these specs:

1. Creative file size
2. Creative dimensions
3. Creative file extension
4. Video length

If you keep seeing the error message after adjusting your creative specs, contact us. Please provide full screenshots of the page and a detailed summary of what you've tried.
