Creative group settings

You need to create a creative group to add creatives to your campaign. Learn how to create a new creative group and add new creatives to a creative group.

What's a creative group and how do I use it?

A creative group is like a folder for your creative assets. With a creative group, you can set up schedules and analyze the data for each group. Also, you can reduce the time by reusing the existing creative group for multiple campaigns.
The most common standard to group creatives is based on concepts. For example, if there are sets of dark and bright creatives that you want to run on different dates of the month, you can make Group A for the dark and Group B for the bright assets and schedule each creative group accordingly.


Create a new creative group


    1. Select your ad account from the drop-down menu on the left.
    2. Select your app on the left sidebar menu.
    3. Click Creative Groups under the app you want to add creatives for.
    4. Click Create.
    5. Fill out Title and Description(Optional). 
      • Title: Set the name of the creative group. We recommend using a naming convention including creative characteristics, language, and upload date to easily manage the different groups. e.g. Black Friday_EN_202111 
      • Description: Input description in addition to the creative group title for extra explanation.


    6. (Optional) Click Set a Schedule if you want to schedule a start and end for your creative group.
    7. (Optional) Click   next to Day/Time schedule if you want to schedule specific days or time of day for your creative group. ___________2021-12-17_______3.29.22.png
    8. (Optional) Select the tracking link you want to use in the creative group. If the tracking link set at the creative group level is different than the one set at the campaign level, the creative group level tracking link will take precedence.
    9. (Optional) Fill out MMP Report group ID in the case that you want to separate the MMP report data by the group name you specify. 

      How do I set up MMP Report group ID in a creative group?
      1. Under MMP Report group ID on the creative group setting page, set the group name you want to see on the MMP dashboard. Only lower case letters and "_" can be used and other special characters or spaces are not permitted. 
      2. Append &MMP_parameter_you_want=%{report_group}to the tracking link. You need to set MMP_parameter_you_want as the MMP parameter you want to analyze with. For example, if you are using Appsflyer and want to analyze the registered MMP Report group ID with af_adset, append &af_adset=%{report_group} to your tracking link.
    10. Click Create to complete the creative group creation.
    11. To edit the existing creative groups, click  Edit button on the list. 


Add new creatives in a creative group

Follow the steps below to add creatives to a creative group by various creative types — images, videos, and native.

  1. Select your ad account from the drop-down menu.

  2. Select your app from the left sidebar menu. 

  3. Click Creative Groups.

  4. Click the creative group title you want to add creatives for.

  5. On Creative Group Detail page, scroll down a bit to click Create button.

    Tip: To add creatives that have already been registered, click the Import button on the Creative Group Detail page.
