Dear Moloco Ads users,
We would like to announce the following update to Moloco Ads. The following change is effective starting July 11, 2024.
Agency customers working with AppsFlyer must be allowlisted
Starting July 14, AppsFlyer will cease tracking campaign performance for any unauthorized agency customers working with Moloco. To determine whether an agency customer is Moloco-authorized, AppsFlyer will be checking agency tracking links for the af_prt
parameter and that the value of the parameter is on Moloco's allowlist. To prevent any potential revenue loss resulting from failure to comply, new agency customers looking to run campaigns with Moloco and working with AppsFlyer for performance measurement are required to be added to Moloco's allowlist before they can launch any campaign. There is no expected impact to Moloco's existing agency customers that are running campaigns with Moloco as of July 14 as long as their tracking links include the af_prt
parameter with a valid value, as any existing value of the af_prt
parameter has been automatically allowlisted. Likewise, there is no expected impact to Moloco's agency customers working with Moloco directly through their advertisers' AppsFlyer dashboard, as AppsFlyer treats them as advertisers rather than agencies without the af_prt
parameter in their tracking links.
We strongly encourage agency customers working with Moloco through their own agency dashboard on AppsFlyer to check that their tracking links include the af_prt
parameter with a valid value. If this parameter is missing, they must first add the parameter to their tracking links and reach out to their Moloco representative to let us know of the value of the parameter so that they will be added to our allowlist. To learn more about registering agency tracking links and troubleshooting errors, see the tracking link registration guide and the troubleshooting guide.
The Moloco Ads team is always striving to provide the best service with regular feature updates and improvements.
Thank you,
Moloco Ads Team
