Moloco Ads release note (24.8.16)

  • Updated

Dear Moloco Ads users,

We would like to announce the following updates to Moloco Ads. The following changes are effective starting August 16, 2024.

Specify standard event types for your postback events

To help boost our machine learning engine's performance with better curated data, you are required to map your postback events to their standard event types when creating new campaigns and editing existing apps and/or campaigns. Mapping events to event types is extremely useful for keeping up data hygiene, which helps further improve the quality of our machine learning that drives your campaign performance. To learn how to map events for an app or a campaign, see the campaign creation guide, campaign management guide, and app management guide.  Screenshot 2024-05-16 at 12.43.07 PM.pngScreenshot 2024-05-16 at 12.43.17 PM.png

Target variable is available for A/B tests

In addition to creative group, you can now specify target as the variable for your A/B tests. This lets you compare campaign performance across multiple targets rather than creative groups to make informed decisions about blocking specific publishers. To learn how to run A/B tests, see the A/B test guide. Screenshot 2024-05-21 at 8.07.25 PM.pngScreenshot 2024-05-22 at 9.49.14 PM.png

End card type has been added to Ad Group Home, Analytics dashboard, and Report dashboard

To align with the recent addition of standalone playables and Interative End Cards (IECs) to Moloco Ads, we have added video end card type as a dimension for analyzing campaign data and creating data reports. To learn more, see the campaign data overview, analytics overview, and report overview

The Moloco Ads team is always striving to provide the best service with regular feature updates and improvements.

Thank you,
